Overview

The course directed the student to be able to perform a proper diagnosis and treatment of parrot &canary and pigeon diseases.

Intended learning outcomes

1. Knowledge & understand

1.1 The student is able to recognize the main disease of parrot، canary and pigeon

1.2 The student can describe the clinical and pathological changes due to the disease

1.3 The student recognizes the doses of anesthesia and special surgical approaches

1.4 The student can recognize the main treatment and doses used.

2.1 The student is able to connect the roles of multiple disease factors

2.2 The student can analyze the multi-factorial disturbance of certain diseases condition

2.3 The student can determine the doses and types of anesthesia as well as drugs used for birds

2.4 The student can expect the prognosis of the disease.

3.1 The student can create a diagnosis after inspection of birds

3.2 The student is able to handle live birds perform anesthesia and do surgical interferes

3.3 The student can take the samples for laboratory diagnosis

3.4 The student can perform the autopsy of dead birds.

4.1 The student Can explain to the owner the roles of hygiene in breeding.

4.2 The student can describe the condition diseases and give advice to the owner
